"Pier"ing into the Future

The start of this week was spent searching out mailing options and fulfilling software needs as the photography aspect of WP inks has more and more prospects on the horizons (exciting!).  Now that the bulk investments and ps download have been made there has been a lot of editing fun!  It was wrapped up with a lovely Chalf Family photography session in Juno.

Tail endings

Riley, our house cat, was in the most perfect of mood's while I finished up my calligraphy job.  He stepped up onto the loveseat, twirled in a tight circle once and nestled into a ball on the corner beside me.  How pleasant is that?  It was a day spent writing out all of the inner envelopes for wedding invitations (Again, Congratulations Christina!).

Wedding Invitations and Sandy Beach Shots

This week has been gleefully filled with the addressing of wedding invitations.  While they all look great, I can't help but say that the names beginning with the letter Z were spectacular.  Is it silly that additional time was actually spent reviewing those pieces and just gazing at the pretty letters?  Probably.  But it was enjoyable!  Congratulations Christina and Chris, I'm sure that the wedding will be beautiful!

Taking the first Huynh Family Pictures were such a nice way to wrap up the week.  We drove to the beach, walked down the sand, found a shady spot and started snapping the pleasantries.  Little Girl couldn't have been cuter with her oversized floppy hat even though she seemed to enjoy removing it more than letting all of us see her sweet face in it.  It was wonderful to see the endearing interactions between father and daughter while the calm "momma bear" relaxed and looked on with approval.  The shoot produced many good images.  Surprisingly, time spent on the stairs away from the sea ended up being of more quality than the ones with toes in the water.  It's a funny thing that one can plan and anticipate over and over but "life" will move you along in the way that is meant to be.
